Shadows of the Savior, pt 1

Isaac was also a type of Christ, a ‘Shadow of the Savior’. Not only is the story a foreshadowing of the death of Jesus, but it typifies God’s plan for mankind from the very beginning… from the foundations of the world! There are many connections between Isaac being offered as a sacrifice to prove a man’s love for God and Jesus being offered as the ultimate sacrifice for sin, proving God’s love for man.
