What does it mean to be "rich toward God"? It means being grateful for everything we have because we know it comes from God. Then we should try to use what He gives us to help others, further His cause, and bring glory to God. We can enjoy our wealth and put it to good use at the same time, as long as our goal is to honor God (1 Tim. 6:10). Being rich toward God means focusing on spiritual fulfillment, not just our own enjoyment. It's really sad when people are wealthy in this life but spiritually bankrupt in the next (see Matt. 6:19–34).
