We need to separate ourselves from the devil, and by extension, the world. Why, because that association will never benefit us, rather it will be our ruin! The time spent flirting with the world always results in a closeness, a familiarity, a friendship with the world…and that’s makes us an enemy to God. “whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
