In Week 3 of Worship in the Wilderness, we move from the woman’s questions about tradition and location to Jesus’ revelation of true worship. The woman begins with “our fathers,” but Jesus brings her to “the Father.” True worship is directed to the Father, made possible through the Son, and awakened by the Spirit. Worship is not confined to a mountain, a temple, or a religious debate. It is the redeemed heart responding to the God who seeks us, reveals Himself to us, and invites us to worship in spirit and truth.
