Psalm 63 teaches us that the wilderness does not have to empty our worship. Sometimes the wilderness exposes what we have really been thirsting for. David had no throne, no comfort, and no easy circumstance, but he still had God. And because he had God, he could say, “My soul will be satisfied.”

That is worship that shapes our living: not worship that depends on ideal conditions, but worship that clings to God in dry places.
